I am a native Japanese speaker and currently living in Japan. I have been teaching Japanese for 2 years. I’ve had over 2400 classes! After I graduated my university, I studied abroad for 2 years in Australia. Therefor I can speak English. I know how stressful learning new languages. So I can help you :) I really love to talk with people from different countries and make new friends! **I can help you with** • Conversational Japanese • Listening • Pronunciation • Vocabularies • Writing hiragana, katakana and kanji • Grammar • Slang and common expressions • Formal and informal conversation • Reading (you will read articles and I will correct your mistakes) We can develop your conversational skills by talking about things that interest you! I love traveling, cuddling my cat , sleeping with my cat, learning different cultures, eating Mexican and Korean food , and chatting with my friends. My Japanese Blog: http://haruki-ta.com/ -CANCELATION OR RESCHEDULE- Please note that if you wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson; it must be at least 12 hours before the lesson starts. If you want to reschedule a class, simply email me and we can change the day. If it is less than 12 hours before, you will be charged 50% of the lesson fee as it does not give me enough time to book another student. So please be careful. If you are late for a lesson by 15 minutes or more; the lesson will be cancelled and you will be fully charged. If you seem are going to be late to the class please let me know before the lesson starts.

🎍🎍🎍The start of the new year is a perfect time to go further in your language journey! Use the coupon code newyou2019 at checkout for 10% off when you buy a package of 10 or 20 lessons.🎍🎍🎍 * Offer expires February 1st. Only valid for Verbling users who have taken less than 20 lessons on the platform. こんにちは。Konnichiwa! Are you interested in Japanese language/culture or planning to go to Japan? I am an experienced and qualified Japanese language teacher. I've been teaching the Japanese language as a second language online and in-person for over 10 years. I studied English and currently learning Spanish, so I know exactly what the challenges (and rewards!) of learning a language are like. I also work as a translator. My students' ages range from 13 to 86 years old. I love teaching as it is amazing to see the students improve their Japanese language abilities and be able to communicate in Japanese. I like watching good movies & anime, playing board games & video games, cooking & eating, travelling, and enjoying life. Let’s start speaking in Japanese :D NOTE: If you're interested in working with me, please book a 30-minute trial lesson first. Also, I would love to hear about your language goals (or anything else you think I should know), so feel free to send me a message when you book. I expect my students to do homework after each lesson. We shall check the homework together during the next lesson. THE TRIAL LESSON IS: - A 30 minutes introduction class. - An opportunity for you to see how the lessons work. - An opportunity for you to ask me any questions. - A way for us to create a plan for your learning goals. - A way to test your internet connection - Occasionally the connection can be problematic for some new online students. - A way to get to know each other. THE TRIAL LESSON IS NOT: - A cheap way for you to get your CV or written work corrected or translated. - A lesson which is focussed on the areas in which you need to improve. - A cheap way to get a 30-minute conversation class with the active intention of not continuing. Of course, if you decide that I am not the right teacher after the class and you wish to find another teacher then that is perfectly fine. ATTENTION: Cancellation/Rescheduling is only possible if you send a request more than 24 hours before the lesson. However, if you are unable to give at least 24 hours notice before cancelling/rescheduling a lesson, the full lesson fee will be charged. If you are unable to give me at least 24 hours notice, please do NOT click any cancel/reschedule buttons. Also, if you are more than 15 minutes late, you are considered absent, and the full lesson fee will be charged. Thank you for your understanding.

Sharing ideas and knowledge for developing yourself is the most wonderful things. "Learning language" is a gate to know other people who have different backgrounds and perspectives. Would you like to share your ideas with me? I am a professional Japanese language teacher who is passionate for sharing fun moments through Japanese language education. <Qualifications and Experiences> -Bachelor’s, Japanese language as a foreign language -Completed a training for Japanese teaching -Passed Japanese language teaching competency Exam -Teaching more than 10 years in school, company, and online. <Lesson Style> For most of beginner students , I use textbooks to see how many grammar/vocabularies we covered and how far we came. But I usually focus on practical conversation in conversation lesson. For people who would like to take JLPT exam, I have many materials to share. I also customize study plan and give writing homework for all students. If you have a specific request like practice for job interview or speech contest, editing essay, etc., please feel free to ask me. I have many experiences and good results.

I am a native of Tokyo and have over five years of experience teaching Japanese (both inside and outside Japan). I teach a variety of students at many different levels of language ability -- from beginners who have just started learning Japanese to intermediate students wanting to improve their conversational skills to advanced students studying to pass the JLPT. I am committed to providing fun, practical lessons with my students. I will look forward to meeting you in my lessons! The following are some general guidelines how we might approach a lesson plan depending on your skill level. 1) Beginner: Focus on basic listening skills to help you get used to the sounds of the language while introducing basic grammar and building a foundational vocabulary. 2) Intermediate: Solidify elementary grammar and begin intermediate grammar while building basic conversational skills. Enrich vocabulary through various media, including TV dramas, magazines, YouTube videos and news sites. 3) Advanced: Progress toward more natural conversation, including, for example, by reading news articles and discussing current issues in Japan and the US. If you have a specific textbook or materials you would like to use, I am happy to accommodate that in our lesson plan. I can provide handouts and other resources as needed. Remember, I want our lessons to be as interesting and fun as they are instructive and therefore want to ensure that we are covering things that are relevant to you. Let me help guide your study and mastery of the language!

I am a "Nissei" (born and raised in Mexico descended from Japanese parents). I have lived in the USA and Canada, but most of my life in Mexico. I have had several English, Japanese, and Spanish conversation groups while I was a college student. I used to work at some international companies in different positions. I think that the best way to learn other languages is by practicing, and there is no more rewarding and funny way to practice than talking!
