¡Hola! Soy Luddey, soy psicóloga y tengo experiencia y entrenamiento como profesora de español en diferentes escuelas de idiomas en Brasil y en la web. Enseño español utilizando un aprendizaje significativo, enfoque de tareas pero, sobre todo, de acuerdo con tus intereses y necesidades.
Whether you're a beginner or a conversation capable student, I will adapt the classes depending on your needs and focus deeply on conversation. We will also follow a grammar course to ensure your continuous progress. For that, we will use my set of presentations that contain explanations, examples and exercises, just like a regular book. And if you feel more comfortable having the grammar explanations in your native language, I could use my German and French speaking skills for that.
Hi! My name is Carmen, and I'm a Spanish teacher. Now the obvious things are out of the way, here are some things you may not know. My name means 'poem' in Latin, and I kind of like that. I was born in Granada, a cute city in the south of Spain where Carmen means 'big house with garden'. There, I graduated in philosophy, and learnt there is a word in my language to name the colour clouds turn at sunset. Amazed by that, I moved to Madrid to study arts and, trying to see as many of those clouds as possible, travelled a lot. I ended up in Boston, Massachusetts, where I became a Spanish teacher so I could discuss the details of that colour with everyone (I should add that we discussed other things, too). Back in Madrid, I decided I wanted to know how a human learns to use colours that don't exist in his or her mother tongue, and got a master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Now, I'm living in London, where I continue my cloud research (English skies often have one or two...), and I'm here, on Verbling, willing to teach you the name of that sunset colour and every other crucial word you need to know in my language. For those less interested in clouds, I have experience in teaching Spanish for travel, business and medicine, academic Spanish, Hispanic literature and much more.
HOLA :) mi nombre es Lucía and I am from Cadiz (Spain). I have worked for 6 years as a Spanish teacher ( + 4 years in Verbling) Verbling has been a great discovery for me because it brings together everything I love; teaching, learning and getting to know new people. Over my working experience I have been able to see that students learn faster when the class focuses on the conversation and how through it, they are able to fulfill other goals such us; expand vocabulary, learn new expressions and improve their grammar and pronunciation. Above all, I mainly consider myself a flexible teacher who is able to adapt to my students interests and needs, so we could tailor-made classes to suit you. In conclusion, I am a teacher who has focused and specialized in teaching Spanish because I love and enjoy teaching and I have a broad experience in doing so. Just a Little note so you get to know me a little better, they say I am a cheerful and sociable person. I am very curious and I am a restless learner. I love to travel, I enjoy Reading, riding a bike, movies, music, sports, yoga and taking walks through the beach… :) TE ESPERO EN CLASE ¡Podemos aprender mucho juntos! :)
