Devoirs - Tuteurs & professeurs de hollandais
Hi! I am Tamara. I have a university degree in literature and linguistics and I am an experienced language teacher, with 7 years of experience. I used to work for a language school in Brussels, teaching and tutoring Dutch, until I decided to move to Spain, and started teaching online. I love languages and helping people to improve their language skills. I believe learning a foreign language can be a lot of fun. I try to adapt the lessons, as much as possible, to the student's needs and interests, and I use different methods during the lessons. I love my job and I am looking forward to meeting you! (I don't have that many hours available on my calendar here, but if you send me a message, we can find a moment that works for the both of us, and I'll open it on my calendar for you.)

To whom it may concern, I am applying for the position of freelance Dutch teacher. I am a qualified teacher ( CELTA) and have been teaching for over ten years. I started teaching English and then transitioned to Dutch teaching a few years ago. I have since taught a range of different students, mainly expats. The students I have taught have been beginners looking to either improve their general conversation skills or aiming to do a readiness to live in The Netherlands exam. I mainly work from Nederlands in gang but I also create my own materials, such as little stories with the vocabulary that the student has learned. From my teaching experience as both a Dutch and an Esl teacher, I have found that students enjoy working in a fun and creative way with personalised activities such as writing letters, creating their own stories and talking about their family and hobbies. I currently have seven students that I work with on a weekly basis. Some of them like to do a lot of revision including having regular quizzes whereas others prefer working in a more relaxed way focussing more on developing slowly and naturally without being quizzed. Personally, I like to revise what we have learned from previous lessons as well as introducing new topics. I like to start my lessons with some conversation, to warm up and then move onto the topic of the lesson, for instance being in a cafe. Most lessons will have new vocabulary, a new grammar topic and some practice of the new skills. Homework will include either some writing, studying of new vocabulary or grammar practice, All in all, I enjoy working with my students and like to see them develop more confidence and language skills. In terms of my availability, I am available to work on tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays as I look after a young baby the rest of the week. I hope I am invited for an interview over the phone and I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Alice Pickering.

Hi My name is Pascale! My native language is Dutch, and my second language is English. I speak many more, because I am fascinated by languages. So if you take a chance on me, I will make sure to help you in the best way I can! In 2014 I started teaching English and Dutch online to adults and children. I teach students from entry to advanced levels. I can help you with: - fluency - pronunciation - grammar - listening skills - conversational skills - vocabulary preparation for: - job application - NT2 We can read something, do role plays, describe pictures, listen to music or short video's, have a free conversation; it is all possible. It is important to me to make my students feel comfortable and to have fun during the class, as I believe it's the best motivation to improve and to get the most out of it. My goal is to get you talking as soon as possible! Conversation is the most important to focus on and most motivating in my opinion. Every person is unique to me. I am convinced that we can find a method catered to your needs. We can learn material that fits your level, or have a free conversation about a topic of your interest. I am very flexible and patient, and like to use recognizable illustrations and examples during the class to support an understandable explanation of things. After we've determined your level we will decide together how we will conduct the class. I am open for your suggestions as well, so please feel free! "If you don't use it, you'll lose it", so let's use the language together. I am looking forward to meet you very soon! Pascale - I ask all students to have their cameras on. - Classes can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 12 hours prior to starting time. After this time the classes will not be rescheduled/ cancelled, and will be charged accordingly - If I do not receive a message that the student will be late, I will wait 15 minutes for the student (10 minutes for trial classes). After this the class will be considered complete, and charged accordingly. *****
I'm a certified CRKBO(Central Register Short Professional Education) teacher. I'm a native speaker, and have been teaching Dutch for 7 years, the last 2 years in Holland. I work with students from all over the world and I always try to focus on the pronunciation, because I think it's the most difficult part of the Dutch language. I try to get my students as close to the native accent as possible, give them extensive explanation about the grammar, while at the same time, practicing their reading and writing skills so that they will feel confident using the language. Last but least I can help intermediate students by giving them feedback after each lesson. I hope to see you soon so I can help you achieve your goals! Tot gauw!
