Curriculum - Tuteurs & professeurs de hollandais
Hi! I am Tamara. I have a university degree in literature and linguistics and I am an experienced language teacher, with 7 years of experience. I used to work for a language school in Brussels, teaching and tutoring Dutch, until I decided to move to Spain, and started teaching online. I love languages and helping people to improve their language skills. I believe learning a foreign language can be a lot of fun. I try to adapt the lessons, as much as possible, to the student's needs and interests, and I use different methods during the lessons. I love my job and I am looking forward to meeting you! (I don't have that many hours available on my calendar here, but if you send me a message, we can find a moment that works for the both of us, and I'll open it on my calendar for you.)

I am native Dutch and have been living in Latin America for more than 13 years. I like to read books, listen to music, learn about other cultures, travel, drink some nice wine and have some good food. I am a TEFL, TESOL and TEYL certified and speak three languages fluently: Dutch, English and Spanish and I have some knowledge of German. Teaching for me is not just a job it is something that I really enjoy doing.
Hi My name is Pascale! My native language is Dutch, and my second language is English. I speak many more, because I am fascinated by languages. I believe I can help you in a great and fun way to learn a language. Learning a new language can open so many doors to people and it can be life changing. It is just fascinating! So if you take a chance on me, I will make sure to help you in the best way I can! In 2014 I started teaching English and Dutch online to adults and children. I teach students from entry to advanced levels. I can help you with: - fluency - pronunciation - grammar - listening skills - conversational skills - vocabulary preparation for: - job application - NT2 We can read something, do role plays, describe pictures, listen to music or short video's, have a free conversation; it is all possible. It is important to me to make my students feel comfortable and to have fun during the class, as I believe it's the best motivation to improve and to get the most out of it. My goal is to get you talking as soon as possible! Conversation is the most important to focus on and most motivating in my opinion. Every person is unique to me. I am convinced that we can find a method catered to your needs. We can learn material that fits your level, or have a free conversation about a topic of your interest. I am very flexible and patient, and like to use recognizable illustrations and examples during the class to support an understandable explanation of things. After we've determined your level we will decide together how we will conduct the class. I am open for your suggestions as well, so please feel free! "If you don't use it, you'll lose it", so let's use the language together. I am looking forward to meet you very soon! Pascale - I ask all students to have their cameras on. - Classes can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 12 hours prior to starting time. After this time the classes will not be rescheduled/ cancelled, and will be charged accordingly - If I do not receive a message that the student will be late, I will wait 15 minutes for the student (10 minutes for trial classes). After this the class will be considered complete, and charged accordingly. *****
I teach because it is fun. At secondary school, my friends asked me to help them with math and economics. I started teaching Dutch as a student at university. My pupils were usually business school students. Later on, I moved to a different university, in Nijmegen, and taught subjects like environmental economics, history and Dutch language. After finishing another project at the university, I decided to start my own IT company. As a company owner, I do projects for companies all over the world, including the department of Languages and Cultures at the University of London. Currently, I spend approximately half of my time as a language teacher and half of my time as an IT expert. I have also been working as a voluntary language teacher at a local organization in my city, which helps immigrants to start a new life in their new home country. I have a masters degree and have finished a course on second language teaching and another course on teaching adult learners. My students are from all ages, currently ranging from 9 till 70 and from all countries and cultures. I teach young children, craft workers and doctors. I'd be glad to have you as a student too. Please, contact me before booking or (re)scheduling a lesson.
