Hi, my name is Erika and I am from South Africa. I am a qualified teacher with a B.A. Humanities degree, a PGCE and TESOL Certification. I taught in South Africa and Vietnam. I have lived and worked in many different countries in Europe, Africa and Asia, and thus know how it feels to communicate in a language that is unfamiliar. I am available to teach all types of students ranging from beginners to advanced and would love to know why you want to learn English. The lessons will be centered around your goals, whether it is to be able to pass tests, move to an English Speaking country or hold a simple conversation. I aim at keeping lessons relevant to what is going on in society and the world around us. I will work with you to bring you to a point of having fluent conversations about your interests and things relevant to your world. We will work on reading and speaking fluency, grammar, pronunciation and overall understanding of the English Language in the English world. We will work hard to learn and improve your English, but with my experience in Teaching English as a Second Language I will make sure the lessons are fun, interesting and engaging. In all of this You the student will be the most important thing, your growth and development. I am excited to teach you, and I hope you are excited to learn.
Hello, I'm Steven and I'm from Manchester, UK. I have a Master's degree from Cambridge University and CELTA English teaching qualification. I have thousands of hours of English teaching experience since 2012. I first taught in Japan and then Spain and now teach online. I like to focus on natural, real English and the advanced grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation that you will need to speak at a high level. My teaching style is to create unique lessons, exercises and homework for you to target your weaknesses so you improve as quickly and efficiently as possible. Having fun is extremely important so I aim to have natural conversations about topics that you and I both find interesting. After the lesson I will give you personalised notes to work on your weaknesses. I'll give you homework on these topics so you improve and don't keep making the same mistakes. I love learning about different cultures which is why I find English teaching so interesting. Please share your culture with me and convince me to visit your home country :) I've been very lucky to be able to travel to lots of countries in Asia and Europe, also America and Uganda. Before teaching English I studied engineering so I can help you with technical or university level English. Feel free to have a trial lesson to see if I can help you bring your English to the next level. Thanks for reading this far. Steven

At the moment I am regretfully unable to accept any new students. When I have a vacancy I will post here. Hello, I am Alison Moore and I am a fully qualified teacher of English as a Foreign/Second Language. Do you want to pass an exam, the Life in the UK Test, improve your English for your job or apply for a new job, or just learn to speak better? With over twenty years teaching experience at every level (beginners to advanced) and every age group, I know how to help you. I have a postgraduate Royal Society of Arts Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Adults (equivalent to the DELTA) and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from Greenwich University. You will enjoy learning English with me - the first thing we will do is discuss why you want to learn, how you like to learn and what your interests are. We will then plan a programme together starting with what you already know and building on that basis. I can help you whether you want help with conversation, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing or Citizenship. I have taught students from all over the world and at every level including those who speak no English and don't read and write any language (including their own) to those who need English because they are studying at university in the UK, or need help with job applications, or to write reports at work. I have helped many students pass exams such as Cambridge First Certificate, City and Guilds, B1, the Life in the UK test, and to improve their IELTS banding. My teaching experience began at the British Council in Hong Kong where I worked for two years. I then worked with Vietnamese refugees who had just arrived in the UK, and since then I have worked in private language schools such as St Giles in London and in the Adult and Community Learning sector in London and currently in West Sussex. I help deliver and mark City and Guilds ESOL exams in my current position. I love teaching and helping people to meet their goals. Please get in touch and we will go from there.
