¡Hola! I’m Michelle. I’m a native spanish speaker, borned in Quito, Ecuador, in South America and raised in Barcelona, Spain. Since I grew up in Barcelona, I have studied in three languages: Catalan, Spanish and English. And I received Latin American Spanish at home.
In the university I studied Humanities, that is, European and Asian literature, philosophy, art history, history and geography. After my studies, I travelled to Japan and I have spent a year with a German family as an Au Pair. During this time, I have learned German and taught Spanish to children and adults.
My background allows me to help you with the official Spanish grammar and with the vocabulary and the accents of Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Venezuela, Perú, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba... My accent it's neutral and I use the Spanish pronunciation for 'c' and 'z' but I can change it naturally to the Latin accent.
Therefore, I will help you to develop your Spanish in an international way.
In Catalan, my accent it's the one you will find in the big city of Barcelona but I'm familiar with the accents of Mallorca, Girona, Tarragona and Lleida so I can help you with their 'slang'.
In addition, I can help with your academic writing skills in Spanish and Catalan.
