À propos de moi
Hello ~ and welcome to fun and enjoyable English lessons online! My name is Lulie, and I would like to offer my background, with over 24 years experience teaching English, and hundreds of hours with students from many countries, and at many levels.
I am dedicated and professional, while attentive and thorough in my lessons. I use audio, video, and relevant materials and provide students with recordings of all of my lessons.
My students have been from over 15 countries, and from many backgrounds and careers. Hence, we have had many interesting conversations on topics such as culture, government policy, law, history, personal relationships, travel, adventure, business and ethics, always adjusted to the level of my students. I create lessons, vocabulary lists, and quizzes for my students who so desire them. I am also an excellent writer and editor, so I can help students who are prepping for essays or their thesis.
Many of my former students have gone on to achieve career advancements because of their high skill level in English; if interested, please request reference letters. Classes vary in subjects from personal relationships, to traveling, science, business, psychology, culture, traditions, political climates, environmental issues; all with emphasis on the student's needs and interests.
I have been living in South America for over seven years, where I have become proficient in conversational Spanish, and have taught English in the classroom. Currently, I teach online, and enjoy encouraging my students and challenging them as needed! My Spanish is intermediate and I have taught at the university level in Ecuador with only Spanish speaking students.
To my students old and new: "Let's enjoy learning English together. Come on in, it's a great adventure!"
What do you love about English?
One of my students loves to listen to "The Doors.” He was always bringing me the lyrics from the songs, to explain to him. He loved it so much that he could sing the words...
