My name is Arron and I started teaching English in 2008 in China. Since then I've taught in several counties in South America as well as Japan.
Aside from teaching English I've also worked for years as a journalist in Latin America. During this time I covered things like finance, mining and energy stories in Chile and organized crime stories in Colombia.
As part of my journalism I worked with and interviewed many non-native English speakers. As a result I'm particularly experienced it how to help non-native speakers improve their English skills for work and business.
I use my teaching and business journalism experience to help students with issues including:
- preparing for job interviews
- giving presentations
- speaking and listening during conference calls
- writing better emails and messages
- reading reports and articles in English
- understanding terms particular to industries like finance, insurance, and mining
- using idioms for more natural speech
While my main focus is on helping students with English at work, I can create lessons for your individual needs.
If you'd like to get started please sign up for a trial lesson or send me an message about what you'd like to learn.
I look forward to meeting you!
