Hello, my name is Anne. I'm Dutch but born and raised in Belgium. I lived for 10 years in the Netherlands (Utrecht, definitely my favorite city!) where I studied Pedagogical Sciences and Politics. Currently, I live in Medellín (Colombia).
Since a while, I've been teaching Dutch and I love it! Since I'm used to learning new languages from an early age on (English and French), but also from later age (Spanish), I know that learning a new language can be pretty hard. The only solution is practice, practice and more practice. But of course, this needs to be in a personal and fun way, to keep you motivated. I try to balance personal interests and grammar/reading/listening/conversation. For that, I adapt my teaching method to the person in front of me. I will figure out before starting your motivation to learn a new language, whether your main focus is passing your integration exam or more practical (like speaking, listening, writing or reading) and your interests and hobbies.
