À propos de moi

My name is Alexander Van Beek and I am excited to share my love of the English language with my students! I currently live in Washington, D.C., but have been around the world and back in pursuit of my ESL teaching career. I enjoy learning as much as I do teaching, and my time in South Korea and Morocco taught me how I can be a positive role model for all learners. I am an active teacher, and students in my classes often spend more time standing up than they do sitting down! I believe the best way to learn is by giving students activities and assignments that allow them to succeed, so they can tell me themselves what areas they would like to work on further. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!
