I began my teaching career in 2011, shortly after completing my CELTA qualification. My first teaching job was to teach English to university students and adults at Milner School of English in Wimbledon. After this, I travelled to Australia, and continued to teach English as a foreign language in language schools in Perth and Sydney, to fund further travel around the country. In 2012 I was accepted onto the Teach First Leadership Development Programme, and switched to teaching English to students in a challenging secondary school in Chatham, Medway. In 2013 I moved back to London and began working in the Independent Sector, teaching Latin and Classical Civilization to GCSE and A-level. Since this time, I have also privately tutored students for AS and A2 Latin examinations. From September 2016 to July 2018, I worked at Northcote Lodge preparatory school in Wandsworth Common, preparing students for the demands of Common Entrance and Scholarship Exams. I am currently teaching English at Utatlan school in Xela, Guatemala!
