À propos de moi

Hi! My name is Kevin and I have experience teaching both English and Spanish. I have always loved learning languages thanks to my unique upbringing. I attended High School in Japan and then moved to North Carolina to study Spanish at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. I studied abroad several times (Perú, Honduras, Spain) and eventually obtained my Masters in Spanish. These experiences led me to become an instructor of Spanish at the university, where I cemented my love for teaching. In terms of my teaching style, I try to understand the student's interests and motivation for learning the target language and then adapt the class to make it relevant for the student. I try to tailor my classroom to the needs of the student and provide them the tools required to actively practice the language.
