Have you always wanted to learn Italian but find it too difficult?
Have you studied Italian at school and need to refresh it?
Are you curious about Italian culture and want to know something more?
If you replied yes to at least one of these questions, I am here to help you!
My name's Cristina and I'm a language teacher and tutor from Treviso, a lovely town in the north-east of Italy.
I have been tutoring students in both English and French since 2012 and, last year, I had the opportunity to work as an Italian language assistant for a secondary school based in Melbourne, Australia, where I team-taught students and helped them enlarge their Italian vocabulary as well as strengthen their oral and writing skills.
I absolutely loved this experience so much so I subsequently decided to get a certification in 'Didactics of the Italian language to foreigners' (CEDILS) issued by the Itals Laboratory of Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
Teaching is not just my job, it's my vocation and it's extremely rewarding to see my students' progress, no matter their age, level or starting point.
So, do you want to impress your family and friends speaking like a native on your next trip to Italy? After your trial lesson, if you decide to continue studying Italian with me, I'll assess your level and produce a learning plan tailored to your needs in order to help you achieve confidence with the mastery of la bella lingua in the shortest amount of time. Forget about boring grammar books! I'll plan fun and engaging learning activities to do during my lessons (including songs, articles and Youtube video-clips) so that, at the end of each lesson, you'll have practised a number of new phrases ready to be used in your day-to-day conversations in Italian.
As for my method, I'll try to speak Italian as much as possible to enable you to get familiar with its sounds from the very beginning.
Still unsure? Being a language learner myself, I know how hard it can be to learn a new language so I'll constantly support you during this process, you will never feel alone.
What are you waiting for? Send me a message and I'll be more than happy to share my knowledge of Italian language and culture with you! :)
