My name is Adriana. I graduated from Instituto Superior del Profesorado “Dr. Joaquín V. González” with a degree in Teaching, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I was born. I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than 30 years. I had my own language school and I have taught children as well as adults. I have also got the AVE (Aula Virtual de Español) certificate recently from Instituto Cervantes. I speak Italian fluently.
I have always felt proud of being a teacher! This wonderful job has allowed me to teach but also to learn from my students at the same time, making it more dynamic and challenging to me. I have always believed in the importance of setting goals, but more importantly in the satisfaction of achieving them through good teamwork. That’s key!
A typical lesson of mine includes: vocabulary (nothing better than words to help us express our emotions, feelings or ideas), grammar (it helps to understand how the language works), speaking (let’s get started!) and RR (revise to remember/repasar para recordar). I also like teaching Spanish and Latin American culture, geography and our joyful way of life.
I prepare students for DELE (Diploma de Español como lengua extranjera) as well as conversation courses. Tailor-made lessons according to students’ needs.
