Hi everyone! My name is Antoine. Although I was born and currently live in Montreal, Canada, I spent most of my life in Vancouver, Canada. I grew up speaking both French and English and have learned quite a few other languages, reaching proficiency in most. I am passionate about language learning and teaching and know what it's like to be both a learner and teacher. This gives me valuable insight and means I am patient and understanding when I teach. I am also well-travelled and enjoy learning about new cultures. I studied Geography, Hispanic Studies and Translation at university and have been tutoring French since high school. I have now been teaching French for a private language school for nearly 3 years. Although I majored in translation, my true passion is teaching! I prefer teaching because it allows me to be in contact with people rather than simply translating texts alone at home. I have always been a people-person and have many years of experience working in customer service as well as tourism. I enjoy helping people, be it with languages, tourist information or finding the right language learning book! I can teach French through English. Puedo enseñar francés a través del español. Posso ensinar francês a través do português. Jeg kan undervise i fransk gennem dansk. À très bientôt, j'espère!
